PRESS RELEASE ON ANTI-ISA WEBSITE As we understand from the beginning, the arrestment of a group of reformation leaders is related to their continuous findings on the misuses and corruptions in the government sector. We reject the accusation that says they want to create a riot as mentioned by the IGP. In order for us to prove our statement, we put out documents that will explain the charges made by Ezam Mohd Noor and his friends about the critically misused of powers in the Malaysian authorities. The public will face major loss if this kind of culture is not being barricade from continuing. We will keep on revealing the documents so that the society will someday realize that the Prime Minister, who failed to answer all the blames regarding the documents that we have, has used the security force to protect himself, and the saddest thing is that the IGP willingly tarnished the Royal Malaysian Police's image by certifying all the false accusations upon Ezam and his friends. We also like to give to PM, Minister of Home Ministry and IGP a reminder, if Ezam and his friends are not released by 31.05.2001, then you give us no choice but to organize a large public assembly to fight the cruelty. This assembly will be attended by our supporters that hate ISA and the cruelty itself. For the time being, we will resume exposing the evidence to the public. At the same time, we call upon all the Malaysian citizen to urge the government to set free all the 10 ISA detention on the false accuses. Their detention purpose is none other but political matter, because the fear of the corruption that has been going on will be unleashed and thus the citizen will no longer has the trust and respect on the present government. People are blindly being robbed by white-collar thieves, who are being sheltered by PM and IGP. We are the representatives of all the organization, who intended to abolished the ISA system, are trying to express our regret on the detention and requesting them to be free again. We are regret that after all these independent years from the colonialism, the public is still restricted with the ruthless law, which can arrests any person from the society without any prove. With that, we hope that IGP will make a wise action and free them all as soon as possible or at least to prosecute them in the open court. Pegurus
